About
Cycloxan 500mg Injection is a chemotherapy medication that contains the active ingredient cyclophosphamide. It is used to treat various cancers, which involve the abnormal growth of cells, and when these cells spread to other parts of the body, they are referred to as malignancies. Cycloxan 500mg Injection is effective in treating malignant lymphomas—cancers that originate in the lymphatic system, including the vessels, lymph fluid, and lymphoid tissues—such as Hodgkin’s disease, lymphocytic lymphoma, and mixed-cell type lymphoma.
This injection is also used to treat other types of cancer, including leukemias, neuroblastoma, ovarian cancer, retinoblastoma, and breast carcinoma. Additionally, it is used to manage Minimal Change Nephrotic Syndrome in pediatric patients, a kidney disorder characterized by excessive protein loss in the urine.
Cycloxan 500mg Injection is contraindicated during pregnancy and should not be used in individuals with acute infections, urinary tract infections, urinary outflow obstruction, or bone marrow disorders.
Treatment may result in immune suppression, bone marrow failure, heart toxicity (cardiotoxicity), kidney damage (renal toxicity), lung toxicity (pulmonary toxicity), and an increased risk of developing secondary cancers. Inform your doctor if you have any pre-existing kidney issues, immune system disorders, heart conditions, or liver problems before starting treatment.
